Click the gear icon to the right of the help icon to open the Application Settings menu.
Save saves the current configuration.
New opens a completely new WebLink session.
Load allows you to open an existing configuration.
Advanced allows you to make precise adjustments to every category of reader functionality: Camera Setup, Communications, Read Cycle, Symbologies, I/O, Symbol Quality, Match String, and Diagnostics.
Language allows you to choose the language in which you prefer to use the WebLink interface.
Important: The reader will restart when a different language is selected.
Terminal opens WebLink's Terminal interface, where serial commands can be sent, responses from the reader can be shown, and reader output can be displayed.
Enabling Beeper causes your PC to beep when WebLink receives a valid decode from the reader.
Note: There is no beeper in WebLink reader hardware.
Clicking Guided Tour launches a tutorial that explains the functions of the various areas of the WebLink user interface.
Restore Default Settings returns the reader to the default state in which it was shipped from the manufacturer.
Manage Login allows you to set a password that will be required to open any session of WebLink. Enter and verify a new password and then click Enable Login to password-protect the WebLink configuration.
Clicking Change password causes the dialog shown below to appear, allowing you to enter and verify a new password of your choice.
Enter your password and click Disable Login to turn off password protection.
Enable USB Drive Mode brings up the dialog shown below. When you click the Enable button in the dialog, your reader will reboot, and then you can use it as you would a USB flash drive. If you click Enable - Don't Reboot, the camera will reboot later.
Important: The USB drive functionality self-disables on the next reader reboot. To enable USB drive functionality again, follow the same procedure described above.
If you try to enable USB Drive Mode when it's already disabled, this dialog will appear:
About WebLink opens the dialog shown below, which shows the current WebLink version, Reader Model, Serial Number, Part Number, MAC ID, Sensor, Firmware Version, Boot Version, Decoder, Speed, Browser, Operating System, and Screen Resolution.
Note: The information in this dialog is selectable so that you can copy it to a clipboard.
