When Range Mode is disabled, the imager checks the value of
the symbol length against the values set in Symbol Length # 1 and
Symbol Length # 2.
If the symbol length does not match either of the preset values,
then it is rejected as invalid.
When Range Mode is enabled, Symbol Length # 1 and Symbol Length # 2 are
combined to form a range of valid symbol lengths. Any symbol length
that does not fall into this range is rejected as an invalid
symbol. Either of the preset symbol length values in the Symbol Length # 1 and
Symbol Length # 2
fields can form the start or end of the range.
