Definition:

When disabled, the start and stop characters
will not be
present in the data output of the decoded symbol.
When enabled, the start and stop characters
will be present in
the data output of the decoded symbol.
Note: Because the start and stop characters are
included as part of the data, the characters must be included as
part of the length in a fixed length mode of operation.
