RS-422 Status

Usage:
RS-232 is an industry standard. RS-422 is used when greater cable lengths are required and/or where noise interference is an issue.
Definition:
RS-422, if enabled, allows communication through RS-422 I/O lines.
When RS-422 is enabled, RS-232 is disabled.
When RS-422 is disabled, RS-232 is enabled.
Serial Cmd:
<K102,status>
Default:
Disabled

Options:
0 = Disabled
1 = Enabled

Note: The default setting can only be changed in readers with multiplexed RS-232 / RS-422 ports. It is forced to 1 (enabled) in readers with "dedicated" RS-422 ports.

Note: The USB version of the MS-4 does not support RS-422.
