QR Code is capable of handling numeric,
alphanumeric, and byte data as well as kanji and kana characters.
Up to 7,366 characters (numeric data) can be encoded using this
symbol. Therefore, less space is required to encode the same amount
of data in a QR Code symbol than in a conventional symbol, lowering
the cost of labelling.
Three Position Detection Patterns in the
symbol make omnidirectional, ultra-fast reading possible.
QR Code has error protection capability.
Data can often be restored even if a part of the symbol has become
dirty or damaged.
