This value sets the exposure or integration
time for the image sensor pixels. The shutter speed setting in
relation to the speed of the object is critical. If a slow shutter
speed is selected to capture fast-moving objects, blurring or
smearing of the image will occur. As shutter speed is increased,
more light and gain become necessary, because the pixels' exposure
time has decreased.
