Fast Linear Mode

This mode is used to locate and decode linear symbols that are oriented in the field of view in such a way that a horizontal or vertical scan line can pass through the symbol completely. The entire image is assumed to be a candidate, and will be scanned either horizontally, vertically, or in both directions. When the number of symbols in the field of view <K518> is set to 2, Fast Linear Mode will try to locate the candidates first and then decode. The candidate symbols cannot be side-by-side-they must be parallel.
